Dr. Kristen Livengood

Dr. Kristen Livengood completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University in 2019. After graduating from veterinary school, she treated both large and small animals at a mixed animal veterinary clinic in Shelby, NC, for 4 years. Dr. Livengood's veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, dermatology, geriatric medicine, and diagnostic imaging.

A native of Thomasville, she moved back to the area to be closer to her family in 2022. When she is not at work, you are most likely to find Dr. Livengood on horseback or spending summer days on the boat or in the garden. Dr. Livengood and her husband are very active in their church and help to lead the middle and high school student ministry. In addition to their two Quarter Horses, "Lemon" and "Drifter," they have two Labrador retrievers, two cats, four chickens, and an entertaining rooster named "Meathead."
